Friends, this Sunday, October 5th, is the first time the Sacred Assembly will be held in Nashville. It begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Legislative Plaza. It is expected that thousands of followers of Jesus will be showing up and praying for revival in the church and awakening for the country and the world.
The Sacred Assembly was created with the idea of Joel 2:15 in mind where Christians are asked to “consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly” to repent and ask for forgiveness from God.
Many local churches, Nashville musicians, and government officials have been invited to be involved in the Sacred Assembly, but, because this is a nameless and faceless event, no names are being released of specific people or churches involved. It is important that no attention is given to names of people, but all focus is on the Holy name of Jesus.
This Sunday a schedule for the event will be released on the event website and social media pages. This schedule can be used to help participants know how to prepare their hearts for the time of prayer they will be entering in to. The links to the website and social media are below:
Directions to the venue can be found at the Sacred Assembly website.
